Spot Color– Consists of vector artwork, using opaque inks this method creates bold colors, sharp lines, and crisp text (generally used for logos and solid colors)
Four Color Process– The oldest form of screen printing, mimics computer printers and uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Recreates photorealistic images, only works on tight-knit white t-shirts
Simulated Process– Consists of halftone dots using opaque inks. Can be used on any color shirt. Reproduces the best detail in photo-realistic and illustrated designs. Generally high color count.
